The AIIA Victoria Young Professionals (YP) are a group within the AIIA that bring together young professionals from a variety of government and non-government industries to network and share ideas in a professional and social environment. Additionally, we act as a conduit for young people to gain access to experts in government, business, not-for-profits and other international industry groups. The YP encourage young professionals to engage with complex ideas and issues to develop a greater awareness of past and present international events that are shaping Australia’s position in the world.

Young members of AIIA VIC can gain access to future events held in conjunction with organisations including DFAT and the United Nations Association of Australia.

We are dynamic, and respond to demand, hosting both individual and collaborative events specific to the interests of young professionals. In the past twelve months we have worked collaboratively with the United Nations Association of Australia, the University of Cambridge alumni and the University of Oxford alumni, as well as both student and alumni networks of major Victorian universities.
