The overall objective of the AIIA is to promote interest and understanding of international issues in Australia. The non-profit Institute aims to increase awareness through its events, publications and presence in the community while not advocating its own view. The AIIA operates nationally through state Branches with a national office to coordinate and spread ideas developed in the state to target its diverse demographic and respond to local needs.

Currently there is no South Australian Branch of the Australian Institute of International Affairs. If you are in South Australia and are interested in the institute, you may join the AIIA as a subscriber for access to webinars and events. This is available on this page.

Please note that at this stage, the options at the above link will give you a general subscription to the AIIA. This does not yet entail membership of an organisation.
