A Presentation by His Excellency, Abdolhossein Vahaji (Ambassador of Iran to Australia)
The Australian Institute of International Affairs Queensland branch hosted his Excellency, Abdolhossein Vahaji, who has been Ambassador of Iran to Australia since August 20 2014. He is married with four children and was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of California (1975) and a Master of Commerce by the University of Shahid Beheshti, Iran, (1996). From 2001 to 2005, Ambassador Vahaji was Deputy Minister for International Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce. He speaks Farsi (mother tongue), French and English. The Ambassador provided his views on Iran’s regional and global position.
