In partnership with the Korea Foundation, the AIIA hosted a series of three online seminars delivering career-focused guidance and advice to aspiring young professionals from Australia and New Zealand with an interest in Korea. It connected more than 30 aspiring professionals with senior academics and policy professionals with expertise in Korean politics. These careers workshops provided a platform for these young professionals, who represent the future of the upcoming generation’s leading thinkers and policymakers, to engage with senior mentors and reflect on how they envision their career path unfolding.  Across the seminars, mentees were able to hear from mentor speakers about the challenges and technical skills inherent to pursuing a career in academia, politics and business, especially in today’s COVID-19 era.
