Hedley Bull Lecture by AIIA NSW Past President Colin Chapman
Immediate Past President of AIIA NSW Colin Chapman was invited to deliver the annual Hedley Bull lecture on international relations by the University of Sydney Politics Society. Mr Chapman was invited to speak given his extraordinary career in the media and international affairs and his active role in creating courses and training young journalists in political reporting in Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.
The annual Hedley Bull Memorial Lecture is named after Professor Hedley Bull (1932-1985), who graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in 1953. Professor Bull is one of the most influential thinkers in the study of international relations, with his major work, The Anarchical Society (1977), becoming a canonical text in that field.
