The “1965 and the Indonesian Coup: Fifty Years On” Seminar held on Thursday 17 September, 2015 was jointly organised by the Australian Institute of International Affairs, the Australian National University and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to mark the 50th year since the Indonesian 1965 Coup. It brought together key witnesses, journalists and academics from Indonesia and Australia to review the Coup and the contradictory versions of the events happened during the Coup.
