What We Do

Are you interested in international affairs? Do you enjoy listening to world-class speakers?

Then AIIA Queensland is for you!

AIIA Queensland meets at Holding Redlich Lawyers, Level 1, 300 Queen St, Brisbane CBD. It usually holds meetings with guest speakers on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Meetings are advertised on the AIIA website and through emails to members.

Meetings are free to members unless otherwise noted. Visitors are welcome to attend all meetings. For usual meetings, the cost for visitors is $15 or $10 for students.

The Queensland Institute of International Affairs was founded as a branch of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in 1932. In 1933, the branch moved to the newly established independent federal body of the Australian Institute of International Affairs.

The Patron of the Queensland Branch is His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland.
