The AIIA has again received a four-star rating (‘broadly transparent’) in Transparify’s 2016 report on the financial transparency of think tanks. It is the only think tank in Australia and New Zealand, in addition to the Development Policy Centre that was rated as transparent.

The first annual Transparify report was published in 2014. The third report in 2016 evaluates over 200 think tanks in 47 countries worldwide by determining whether they publicly disclose information on who funds them and the amount they receive from each source on their website.

The report was released Tuesday, 28 June 2016 via the Transparify website.
