Australian Institute of International Affairs Queensland notes with sadness the passing of Wayne Goss.
Mr Goss was a Premier who enhanced the reputation of the State of Queensland immeasurably through his breadth of vision, humour and intellectual approach to all matters that came to him.
I had the privilege of knowing him for over 23 years and was delighted when he joined our organisation and attended a number of our events when his questions and conversation inevitably raised the level of discussion.
The deepest sympathy of AIIA members is extended to Mrs Roisin Goss and to Ryan and Caitlin.
