AIIA National Executive Director Dr Bryce Wakefield will occupy a position on the Oceanic Conference on International Studies (OCIS) 2020 Organising Committee. Held every two years, OCIS is a leading Australasian international studies conference that brings together scholars working across all fields of international studies.

The 2020 iteration of the conference will be hosted by the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University. The conference will run from Monday the 29th of June to Wednesday the 1st of July, 2020.

Three professors from the ANU Coral Bell School will comprise the executive of the organising committee: The Chair, Professor Toni Erskine; and the two Deputy Chairs Professor Evelyn Goh; and Professor Ben Goldsmith.
