The 2017 recipients of the Euan Crone Asian Awareness Scholarship were announced at the AIIA National Conference on 16 October. Two successful candidates were chosen: Eliza O’Donnell from Victoria and Alexandra Banks (pictured) from the Australian Capital Territory.

Eliza O’Donnell will use her scholarship to travel to Indonesia. Here, she will conduct research in in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Bandung on tropical art conservation.

Alexandra Banks will use her award for support while undertaking an internship at the Japan Institute of International Affairs.
