Vera Mackie (her UoW profile can be viewed here) is Senior Professor of Asian and International Studies and Director of the Centre for Critical Human Rights Research at the University of Wollongong. She is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and the Royal Society of New South Wales.
