Professor Robert A Saunders is a researcher in the Department of History, Politics and Geography at the State University of New York (SUNY). He is the author of four books, including Popular Geopolitics: Plotting an Evolving Interdiscipline (Routledge, 2018). His research explores the impact of popular culture on national, religious, and political identities in the 20^th and 21^st centuries.
