Dr Kylie Baxter specialises in Middle Eastern and Islamic politics. She teaches at the University of Melbourne at the undergraduate and master’s level in the Islamic Studies program, and in the Master of International Relations. Kylie’s recent publications explore international and regional responses to the Syrian conflict, foreign terrorist fighters and the changing political environment in the Gulf region.
