Hugo Seymour is the Research Officer at Perth’s strategic policy think tank, USAsia Centre and a Young Professionals Network (YPN) Committee Member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) WA Branch. Hugo develops content and publishes on Western Australia and Australia’s engagement in the Indo-Pacific region. Furthermore, he organises and promotes the Centre’s foreign policy events.

Hugo has previously worked at Francis Burt Chambers as an assistant to the barrister in civil litigation matters and has contributed to the advocacy work of the Welfare Rights & Advocacy Service. He has volunteered with social justice and migration organisations, including the Australian Red Cross. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
