Dr Hao Liu, associate professor of law, works as deputy director of the National Research Center of ATM Law and Standard of China, and is the director of the Institute of Aviation Law and Stand, Beihang University. In the ICAO/UNOOSA Space Learning Group, he is chairing the sub-Legal Group. To promote and facilitate the new emerging technology and aerospace cooperation, Dr Liu Hao works actively as the vice chair of the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems and also the vice chair of the Space Safety Laws and Regulations Committee of International Association for the Advancement of Space Policy.
