Dr Ashutosh Misra

Dr Ashutosh Misra holds a PhD (2000) in international studies, Master of Philosophy in disarmament studies (1994) and Master of Arts in history (1990, gold medallist). He received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Award for doctoral research in 1997-1998. He is one of Australia’s leading Asianists and has published extensively including, Pakistan’s Stability Paradox: Domestic, Regional and International Concerns (Routledge, 2012), India-Pakistan Coming to Terms (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010) and Pakistan: Engagement of the Extremes (Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, 2008). He appears regularly in the Australian and international media discussing South Asian affairs.
