Ambassador Eduardo Peña Haller was appointed as Ambassador of Mexico to Australia in 2017. Previously, he served as deputy legal advisor for the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a career diplomat with over 30 years of experience, and some of his previous positions include Consul General of Mexico in Frankfurt, deputy head of mission in the Mexican embassies in Uruguay, Austria and Germany, and director general for legal affairs.
