Shirley Scott
Research Chair
Associate Professor Shirley Scott has published in leading journals of both International Law and International Relations on the place of international law in world politics. She has worked collaboratively with scholars of both disciplines in Australia, North America and the United Kingdom and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of International Law and International Relations. Dr Scott is also the author of a leading textbook in the field: International Law in World Politics: an Introduction and its companion, International Law and Politics: Key Documents. She is currently working on projects on the `United States and International Law’ and `international law and the use of force’ and is a member of a Trans-Tasman research group on maritime security.
