The Australian Institute of International Affairs was represented at the Third Asian Think Tank Summit last week. The event was co-organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the ADB Institute and the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the University of Pennsylvania from 20-22 May 2015 at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, the Philippines. The AIIA’s National Executive Director Melissa Conley Tyler presented on “The Role of Think Tanks in Shaping the Future of the Asia Pacific.”

In January 2015 the AIIA was ranked the top think tank in South East Asia and the Pacific in the annual Global Go To Think Tanks Index compiled by the University of Pennsylvania’s Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program.
